Pictures from the Fourth

God Bless America and her leaders and citizens.

I hadn't posted these and I thought they were really nice. After going to the coast to see the tall ships, we were home on July 4th. In the morning, the kids participated in the children's parade in Wake Forest's historic area and then activities in Holding Park. Later in the day, we went to Rolesville's Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration and ran into some friends there. It was a good day, a good day to reflect upon what sacrifices have been made in order to have such a wonderful nation to be part of and what our duty as citizens might be. We hope you take the change to do some reflection too. We live in interesting and trying times. As we continue to be enlightened on the purposes of life on Earth, we don't sweat the small stuff anymore. When you have things in the proper perspective, it's easier to get through the everyday bang-ups and hang-ups.
